Need Help with A-Frame Design

I am looking for information on A-Frame design and have found it difficult. I am looking for information specific to foundation construction, connection detailing, and modified A-Frame structures (ie. the roof line doesn't meet the foundation, it rests on short 4 or 5 foot walls). Load Tables and considerations would also be helpful. Anyone who knows of any books or information available I would much appreciate you pointing them out. Thanks.
