PCADD 9.1.6 and High Sierra
PCADD 9.1.6 and High Sierra
I was hoping that my problems with High Sierra were solved but unfortunately they are not. 2 problems still exist for me: 1) Custom Palettes are still created as regular windows; and 2) importing many formats crashes PCAD with the fortunate exception that DWG can be imported.

Re: PCADD 9.1.6 and High Sierra
Today, when I launched PowerCADD 9.1.5 (I know, working over New Year's holiday weekend is less than desirable...), I received a notice that an update to PC/WT was available. I am still on Sierra (and will remain so until I am convinced that PC will work for me under High Sierra). So far, no problems with this latest PC10.1.6 (Build QL27) and WT10.1.3 v5.
happy new year!

I'm still running Yosemite. Is there any reason to upgrade to 9.1.6? Was the upgrade for compatibility with High Sierra? It is not clear from the engsw.com site.
Thanks and Happy New Year to all,

The quality of the user interface is definitely worth the upgrade if your systems can handle it. There are some who are having trouble with fonts and crashing as you've read but my system is running terrific. I'm thrilled with the upgrade. It's a big improvement in my humble opinion. The Ballon Text in WT crashes the software but that's all I've encountered.

How much of an interface upgrade is it from Sierra?
I imagine a fair amount of my older software won't survive the upgrade.

I've just upgraded our Late 2012 iMac to High Sierra and with the latest version of PowerCADD and WildTools I too have only found a problem with WildTools' Balloon Text Tool.
We don't have many older applications running on this machine and there are only a couple that won't run including some Canon Camera Utilities and a version of Google Earth Pro.
Apart from that it's all running smoothly on a 5 year old iMac.
