one powercadd two computers?
one powercadd two computers?
Hi I have one copy of powercadd installed on a desktop mac pro and I wish to also install it on a powerbook pro that i can continue to work onsite. When i install powercadd on the laptop i get a message that some features are disabled ??
Is this a protection built in to prevent multiple use on one license? If so i am only one user and will remain only as one user. Further My powercadd is dongled preventing multiple use ( therefore I need to transfer the dongle each time i am working on a different platform )
Does anyone know how i can restore full function to powercadd on my powerbook? My English Powercadd distributer is not answering the phone so I am getting nowhere with this issue.....

Re: one powercadd two computers?
In the USA we can have one license on two machines.... desktop and a laptop. However, you can not have the program on both machines at the same time.
Try opening the program on the powerbook only.
And/Or
Try opening the program on another network (outside the office)
Now I don't know if the dongle senses the second location and creates the problem.
But I do have a single license on two machines.... but I only open it on one machine. And like you... I basically want to be able to use PowerCadd outside the office, typically when I am field measuring.
Hope that helps
