Many small- to mid-size high-tech, software and manufacturing companies are finding themselves with underutilized employees. Why? Blame it on the falling production levels due to the economic pressures. But you can help these organizations infuse additional cash into their businesses and reduce job loss by introducing them to the federal and state research and experimentation (R&E, also used interchangeably with R&D - Research and Development) tax credit. In this session, learn the four-part test for defining qualifying activities.

Learn how Axium is uniquely beneficial for the tracking and reporting of such qualifying activities. Explore the updated R&E credit calculation options and see industry-specific examples. Take a closer look at the significance of the US vs. McFerrin ruling as it relates to preferred and filed study practices. Read Press Release article.

Randy Crabtree, CPA, is a founding Partner with Tri-Merit, LLC., Research and Development Tax Credit Services.
