Vacancy for Researcher Officer on SBE

Postby douchan » Tue May 15, 2007 8:36 am

Dear all,

I'm writting on behalf of a Indo-french NGO, Architecture&Development which is involved in SBE issues in India for the past 8 years. We are actually looking for an experimented architect or engineer who could work for the next 6 months on a research related to energy efficiency and cost effectiveness.

This study focuses on players, design strategies, technologies and products/appliances which are used in SBE issues also lying within the scope of cost effectiveness. This survey aims at providing reliable data (as costs, rates, figures...) and feedbacks on professional experience in order to target common stakeholders - and mostly developers: objectives are to demonstrate them that the "green market" is viable, mature enough and try to convince them to switch over for sustainable practices or at least to improve energy and resource management in their constructions.
The database and the study will attempt to give an overview on technologies, products, designs that could be adopted and mainstreamed by common stakeholders to achieve green agenda.

The study will be undertaken with a french counterpart and under the guidance of Mohan S. (landscape designer) and Sanjay Prakash (architect).

The placement will be in Bangalore. If interested, please send CV asap to : douchan@archidev.org
