Unique Structures and Landscaping

Postby ibuildingphotog » Sat Sep 24, 2011 7:34 pm

A building with a unique design, the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, opened recently in Kansas City, Missouri. While photographing the building, I noticed that trees were placed prominently alongside the building.

It would seem to me that, in a few years, the trees may obscure the view of the building from some of the best photographic vantage points. I was wondering how big a factor landscaping plays when designing a building that will probably be highly photographed?

A link to some of the photos I took follows. http://www.digitalphotocloud.com/component/k2/item/11-kauffman-center-for-the-performing-arts.html/.
