AutoCAD vs VectorWorks

Hello Everyone in Design Community.com

I am a humble Garden and Landscape Design Student based in the UK, and I have been given an assignment to research, analyse and evaluate two CAD packages. Can anyone give me their thoughts, preferences or likes/ dislikes regarding VectorWorks and AutoCAD?

Any information will be gratefully received so long as it's clean!
