Dear photographers
You are cordially invited to participate in our international panorama photography competition.
The theme is “windows of the world” – in wide 180°-360° format (horizontally).
Possible scenes and subjects include anything related to “windows” in the broadest sense. Views from the inside out, in front of a panoramic window front or, of course, capturing the front of a building with unusual windows that are typical for a particular country or region are just some ideas to get you started. Open windows, as well, are welcome subjects. It is not just front of buildings with windows but also the visualization of the functionality of windows. Other photographs with good chances of winning a prize are those that tell a small story and/or bring up a smile on the viewer’s face. Showing windows and people in a particular context would be another thrilling subject. Generally speaking, it is important for us to have all continents around the globe represented.
The 50 most accomplished photographs will be published in an exclusive book by SIEGENIA-AUBI. The top six participants will receive prize money ranging from 1,000 to 250 EUR, the 50 participants selected will each receive two free copies of the book. All other participants may order the book as single copies at cost.
The competition is sponsored by SIEGENIA-AUBI ( http://www.siegenia-aubi.com ), the leading manufacturer of hardware for windows from Germany, in collaboration with schnurstracks agency for design and interaction ( http://www.schnurstracks.de ). The competition has been inspired by SIEGENIA-AUBI’s campaign: “Ahead of its time – for the windows of the world”.
