This client is a leader in their field and is very well respected. Their main client base is Fortune 100 companies and also many of the global 100. The company through their first class software product suite are in a superior position which has seen them gain repeat business from several of the worlds largest organisations.
My client is looking for a very senior QA Tester, someone who has run and grown QA departments and is 3D CAD versed.
The Senior QA Tester – Team leader has the primary responsibility of developing an effective team that ensure that all the company software is of the highest quality as per specification. This position is responsible for setting up QA processes and procedures that ensures that only the highest quality products are released.
As a Senior QA Tester – Team lead you will need to maintain a high degree of interpersonal and technical expertise to facilitate working effectively and efficiently with your test team members, programming staff and others members of the company, as required.
Candidate must have: -
Prior QA lead experience
Prior professional 3D software experience (CAD preferable)
Knowledge of CAD and/or 3D graphics issues a benefit
Indepth experience with application software releases
Working with enterprise customers a benefit
RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and implement effective process and systems to support development.
Act as an effective team leader in supporting quality decisions and practices.
Lead in the implementation of QA policies and procedures for software development.
Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive test plans to ensure systems requirements are met by the test team.
Design, implement, and maintain testing environments, as required.
Ensure that the test team creates and maintains test plans that drive comprehensive testing according to systems specifications and requirements.
Manage defects in an effective, acceptable and consistent manner.
Plan, develop, and execute system and regression level testing scenarios, when required.
Measure system performance on multi-user platforms, when required.
Ensure technical documentation and systems are in agreement.
Work with developers, test analysts and beta QA Testers to ensure releases meet acceptance criteria.
Improve product quality and reject software that does not meet an agreed upon level of quality.
Work closely with customers and company Field/support teams to ensure customer feedback is incorporated into the release cycle.
The position is to be based in Auckland and all visas can be supplied for overseas applicants. |

I am architect with over 12 years of experience.I have worked in India, Singapore and UAE on a variety of projects. I have worked on AUTOCAD, 3d-max, 3d-VIZ and I aslo have a certification from Compuware on Software Quality and Testing( Automated Testing Tools-QA Run, QA LOAD etc).
