Guys see this design,
Any comments ... will appreciate your feedback!

Concept
The bridge sits on the river like the “sail of a boat” with a glass mast. The design is reflective of the grand and world class image of New York.
Details
The cantilevered suspended bridge spans over the Hudson River in New York, overlooking the city. The main high rise structure is the prime support and carries the load of the cantilever on both sides. The proposed structure is a high rise building through which the bridge will penetrate and go right across. This building will comprise of high condominiums, offices and hotels on the upper floors and restaurants, recreation center, shopping centers, casino and parking levels on the middle and lower floors. The parking will be accessed from a separate road branching out of the bridge that goes directly to the lower floors to the parking levels. There is also a possibility to incorporate train subway tracks that will run over the bridge. It will not only cater to the city residents but will also become a major tourist attraction and a hub of activities representing the world class status of New York. One major aspect of such a development is revenue generation and it is expected that the returns from the facilities in the building can sustain the high construction and development costs and be economically sustainable in the long run.[img][/img] |

I like it!
(better than the winner, which seems to have to much extra scaffolding-looking bracing above it that could possibly be more useful.)
I'd have to see the road you're talking about, but I think it's a good idea.
How about a fully-glass enclosed restaurant on the top floor? Great view, I bet.
To make a desperate plug for sustainability, is there a viable water-run energy source? |

I am totally agree with julie fox,
this is indeed an excellent design,
julie, you are right about a fully-glass enclosed restaurant on the top floor,
it will look excellent, what about the revolving restaurant? |

I am totally disagreed with Richard Meier's comments about the

none of them really do it for me. wanky graphics don't a good building make.
the exhibition and adjoining book by the Royal Accademy of Arts a few years back had some lovely and considered inhabitable bridges in, i recommend it for anyone interested in the subject. _________________ Will |
