Kevin,
I noticed a post in the PowerCADD forum today that need not have been made as the same question had been asked only a few days before. (re Drag and Drop). I find my myself less enthusiastic to respond to questions that are asked over and over and I'm sure others feel the same way.
As a way to prompt people to Search before they ask, could the layout in each forum include a search text field and search button just to the right of the "New Post" tab?
This could be a basic search preset to:
• Search for keywords
- Search for any terms
• Forum set to the forum you're looking at
- All Posts
- Search topic title and message text
etc.
Having this facility might help reduce question repetition.
OT.
Another little thing, is there any way to have the BBCode buttons that are at the top of the post page ('B', 'i', 'u', etc) place the code at the insertion point rather than always at the end of the text? I find myself wanting to go back and insert BBCodes and the buttons don't work well for this.
