I'm totally new to your forum and only intend to utilize your expertise on architecture to get some information if you are so kind to divulge. I took a photo of a medieval style church in Florence. I can't identify what it is. By searching the net for almost an hour, I found a professional photograph of the same building on Photovault.com. I will attempt to attach the photo to see if you can identify what the name of the building is. Thank you ever so much. If you don't feel that you should answer my question, let me know.

Hallo Mabelmoe.

This picture shows you the "palazzo veccio". The first plans were made by arnolfo di cambio (nomen est omen;-) ) in 1299.
It includes very interesting rooms etc.

Very interesting rooms and furnitures. Salone dei cinquecento, Francesco I.th`s office ( indeed!).

peter

Yes, this building does overlook the palazzo veccio, (the name of the plaza) however it is known as arnolfo's palace. A beautiful building.
