Can you provide information on what version of PC you are using? Also OS, and machine. (see my signature as an example)
Did this happen after a recent update?

In addition to Patrick's requests, it would also be helpful to know if this happening on every file, old files only, new files only, or some combination thereof

Thanks for the reply to everyone.
PCADD 8.0.14
iMac 2.8 intel core 2 Duo
2gb ram
Mac OSX 10.5.6
Since I bought Pcadd I never had the hatches. This happens with every files, old or new.
Thanks

Sounds like a good one for HUC to help you with...... but have you called Mike Cleveland at ES?

Same thing has been happening to me about once a week in every version since PowerCADD 8 came out. I keep a zipped copy of the entire preference file around to restore everything.
Another item is under Preferences/View I have "Scale Patterns" unchecked, but each time I restart I have to check then uncheck this to restore my unchecked preference. This also has happened in every update of version 8.

Best Guess -- you are using Global Attributes and that attributes file is damaged, corrupted, or you may have deleted all hatch patterns in one file which -- with global attributes enabled -- which in turn would have whacked the hatches from all other files.
I recommend trying this:
1) Choose PowerCADD menu > Preferences > General Tab
2) Uncheck the box titled "Global Attributes" (if it's not checked we have other issues at play)
3) Quit PowerCADD
4) Open folder "Home(YourUserName)/Library/Preferences/PowerCADD/
5) MOVE (or trash at your discretion) the file "Default Tables" to the Desktop
6) Launch PowerCADD
7) Create a New - UNTITLED document (i.e. a generic factory default drawing)
The hatch patterns should be there.
Open an older drawing and the hatch patterns should be there.
If they don't appear you should contact Engineered Software technical support by phone and/or email to take advantage of their free technical support.
