Someone took some photos on the floor of a room and submit the photo to the internet. And he claims that the floor is of hardwood flooring. In fact, the floor is of laminate flooring in terms of the photos. There are 3 reasons for the judgment.
1. For most types of hardwood flooring(A), there will be lacquer on the surface. So its surface will be very shiny. However, there is no lacquer on the surface of laminate flooring(B) except for the UV-shine type, so most types of B are not shiny. The floor in the photos is not shiny.
2. For A, there is will be definite color difference as the wood is cutting from different parts of the tree. But there is no definite color difference for B. No definite color difference can be checked from the photos.
3. The shape of V groove at the joint of A should be soft. But the shape of V groove at the joint of plank in the photos is straight, which is in accordance with the shape of V groove of B. |
