There's a really strong concept behind each of your sketches and in each case that idea is expressed in the architecture.

Your designs are really good, I've seen a house with a family living room similar to what you have designed. you should take Sketchup more seriously. There are some online video tutorials of sketchup and I think it would really help you. Although graphs are easier to use, it is better presented using a software.
