I have some beautiful old Kentucky barn wood I've recently stripped and am looking to sell it. It is estimated to be around 200 yrs old. I'm hoping someone might be able to guide me in the right direction. This site looked promising, so I joined and am now looking around. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

| There are several venues that you can take. The market for this material is in the western States (Utah, Montana, Arizona, California, Oregon, etc.) The first thing you need to do is to get an inventory of what you have. You have to list the quantity broken up by widths, lengths, thickness, condition and species of wood. You can unload your product with resellers, go through yellow book and start calling. You should not have any problem selling it. |

I work for a company named Trestlewood that buys and sells barnwood and other reclaimed wood products. Whether we would be a good prospect for purchasing a specific batch of barnwood lumber would depend on such factors as dimensions, quantities, species, quality, price and location.
