Hi!
Me and my wife were arguing the other day how we would grade our own house on a scale 1 to 10. We both agree that we are happy with how we live, but we disagree in how it compares to other houses. She insisted people in general would give it an 8, while I said the grade would be lower than that, giving homage to the fact that there are a lot of really nice homes around! So we posted a couple of images and some information to xhibi.com, and so far, I am winning the argument judging from the current score! There are not that many votes yet though, so we were hoping some of you could help us out.
Check our place out here
Cheers!

| My question to you is why do you care about people's opinion? You stated that you and your wife are happy with the way the house as it is. Not all styles suit everyone's taste. Some people will find the clothesline or the unkept landscape in the pictures as a turn off. Others will say it lends itself to the rural look. In my opinion, the house rates a 10 simply because you guys are enjoying it. |

Hi Madimel,
Thanks for your reply! I totally agree about not caring about other peoples opinion. We couldn't be more happy with how we live. Still, we were curious about how other people perceive our humble home . I think a lot of people are interested in whether their inner vision match that of others, while there are people that couldn't care less. I think I end up somewhere in the middle... But that's a broad issue not suiting for this forum, I think. Thanks again!

Hi Ted,
I didn't mean to sound short on my reply. It didn't read very well. What I was trying to say is that you should narrow down your question. The question you post is perfect for this forum. However, being such a general question, I was worried that you would see replies that may affect the positive things that you see in your home. I would much rather hear what you and your wife love about your home and what you think should be improved. The reason some people may not like your home is the same reason why you don't live in modern structure. When I work with a client, I only want to know of their perception of their surrounding and not the opinion of their friends. |
