For V groove lamiante flooring(VGLF), there are 2 types: Painted V groove(Painted VG) and pressed V groove(Pressed VG). The availabe surface for Pressed VG only mirror surface. AIVG can work with almost all types of surface except for UV-shine and hand scraped surface. Pressed VG is a bit more expensive than painted VG due extra material cost. But pressed VG
is a bit more simliar to hardwood flooring(HF) as its length is 807mm instead of 1212mm. The length for HF is usually around 807mm.

VGLF becomes more and more popular due to its strong wear resistance, hardwood imitation and easy to care.

Like other types of laminate flooring, VGLF is strong wear resistant. The ratings are AC1, AC2, AC3 and AC4. But many manufacturers can't work on AC3 because their grooving tool is too weak for the rating on VGLF.

VLF is very like HF due its surface and dimensions. The V shape on the edge is designed to imitate HF. The V shape is on the 4 sides of VLF. For painted VG, the normal size is 1212 X 90 X8.3mm, 1212 X 90 X12.3mm, 1212 X 126 X8.3mm, 1212 X 126 X12.3mm, 1212 X 143 X8.3mm, 1212 X 143 X12.3mm, 1212 X 163 X8.3mm, 1212 X 163 X12.3mm. For pressed VG, the normal size is 807 X 90 X8.3mm, 807 X 90 X12.3mm, 807 X 126 X8.3mm and 807 X 126 X12.3mm. These dimensions, especiall the sizes for pressed VG are the normal dimensions for HF. The bevel of painted VG will be painted with the paint which color is similar with the colors of surface. Normally the work is done manully. So the painted bevel can't be in line. But you even can't find that it is painted if the paint color is very similar with the suface color and the distance is over 1 meter between you and the painted VG.

There is no gape under the V groove after the VGLF is installed. And Unlike HF, there is no scratch and press mark on the surface of VLF because it is strong wear resistant. What's more, the first layer of VGLF is wear resistance paper. Dirty can't penetrait the first of layer of VGLF. And dirty is easy to remove. So VGLF is easy to care.

With these features and cheap prices, VGLF enjoys good reputation in global market little by little.
