Hello all,
I am new to this forum and I have to say that I think it is very helpful.
I am posting this message in regards to a search and formation of a thesis topic for my undergraduate final semester project. I am interested in the development of industrial areas and their relationship to the city. Looking at the relationships that the city and the industrial zones have with one another. Basically I am interested in the redevelopment of industrial architecture.
My thesis adviser said that this is an open ended topic and that should shift to something else. However, I feel very attached to the topic of industrial development and hope to discover something about it. I have a few background sources from the basic structure of the factory from the Royal Saltworks and Fiat Factory to analysis of industrial building facades by Corb.
If anyone has any input or suggestions then please reply.
