I've got a lot of models, made in various times and I'd like to have some profit from them. I'm aware of several sites offer placing models for sale, but I didn't get a cent there Sad Maybe I learned this market not so good, if you know any sites or communities to sell models I'll be grateful.

There are various models - furniture, equipment, interior items etc. The detalization is different as well. But I'm interested, are there some specialised websites that engaged in sell and distribution of 3d models?

I have seen a few ,and maybe you could find some where you can offer your works --- now 3d models share various uses ; in a way you can document the design in the 3D model case each part are made-as-build and not "just" a square solid for a leg and a cylinder for the transverse, but if the design are a true assemble, that can be taken apart -- if maybe you deliver not just the "raw" 3D model but also the planes that will break the design down into a works drawing so it can be made, maybe then you can prove an edge with your designs , othervise people will proberly see them as blocks to place , interiours they rather find for free. Don't know if you got my point, but with a design , how and what tools to produce it are as important as the design.

Ofcaurse the reson I ask to detail is my entrance towerds 3D models ; in my world, a 3D model of a house must be not just the outher walls and roofs, it has to be perfectly structural detailed , in fact to use it with the 3dh entrance to structural assemblies and manufactoring, that is the reson I ask, as "just" a 3D model can be anything and if it is a zero wall thickness model, only to be used in a rendering, then it has no use for generating the building frames to create that form, likevise with your models, the best sale argument could be the planes and unfolded parts of the design with each design.
Just my pound of lead.

There is a new site that offers pay-per-download revenue model: http://3dbase.net
Payments made through PayPal. I think this is more effective selling model then waiting for years, expecting your model sale.
