web site, “The Citizenre Corporation pays for, installs, owns and operates the solar installation.
You don’t have to worry about maintaining the equipment or any of the other concerns that come with
making an investment in solar power. All you are required to do is pay for the electricity generated
from these panels, at a fixed rate that is at or below your current electricity price, for up to
twenty-five years.” A one-year and 5-year contract is also available, but a 25-year contract will
realize the biggest savings.
The performance of the system is monitored through the residential telephone line giving the company
the ability to respond to system problems daily. In addition, the homeowner can monitor the system
perfomance online in the customer’s account. Should a problem occur, Citizenre will be responsible for
resolving it at no additional cost to the homeowner. The rental agreement is backed by a performance
guarantee -- only the actual energy produced is included in the monthly bill. Therefore, it is in the
company’s interest to maintain the equipment at optimal performance. The homeowner doesn't pay for
underperforming equipment which is a disadvantage when considering a solar system purchase.
The simple steps for any homeowner living in a net-metering state to join Citizenre’s program are:
1) fill out a form that notifies the company of the customer’s interest, house orientation, shading
factors and utility provider. 2) Citizenre franchisees come to the homeowner’s residence and work up
a site plan for the panels which can be located on the roof or in the yard up to 300 feet from the
house. If the plan is approved by the homeowner, the plan is submitted to the corporate office. If the
plan is not approved, the homeowner changes his/her mind or solar is not suitable at the site, then
nothing else happens and the homeowner has no further obligations. 3) The requisite number of panels
and equipment are installed per the engineering plan. While the utility grid costs continue to go up, the
Citizenre customer will be enjoying a fixed rate up to 25 years.

When will we started to use the solar will be the ending day of power supply company..much be some company try to develop the cheap solar system one day..just dunno when it will be..

they now have a new paint that is solar panel paint now. this week good news
but i am still using the panels i have had since 1985 and they work fine and meet my needs then and now.

I am a bit skeptical of this. It sounds like a case of to good to be true.
Also in response to pycoopi, we will have coal fired plants at least until we can figure out a practical way to store solar and wind energy for times when they are not available.

batteries(replaced/recycled a few times)
and a regulator to make sure they don't over charge or be under charged.
(the grid is a storage system) put the solar and wind into the same grid of transformers.... you could turn off your coal and gas powered plants today if it was not for the lobby behind them that has prevented the use of alternative energy for over 100 years. the same big money that keeps americans prison and war system going too.
Hydrogen is a great storage method too i have seen 4 such examples of hydrogen (water) being used to store the power made from solar as well as fuel the homes cars.
currently i make and run Bio-Diesel (veggie oil waste made) 0 on the emissions test compared to 4.5 with regular petroleum diesel (that is now low surfer and harmful to older engines)
not to mention the fuel economy of it (TEST) Q: if i make this stuff at 70 cents a gallon i got 100 miles in 1/8th a tank and the tank is 15 gallons how much cost per mile do i get? A:__________

Well I did say a practical way to store the energy. I saw someone use solar energy to produce hydrogen on TV -they had a tank farm in their yard.
Batteries are very polluting, there aren't enough McDonald's for everyone to run there cars off of used oil, it requires almost as much power to produce ethanol as you get from it.

batteries are recyclable therefor no pollution unless you improperly dispose of them.
as far as tanks get carbon fiber 10,000 psi tanks not average ones.
you seem obstinate and i don't think typing back to you will get either of us anywhere.
bio-diesel is net 0 on energy
of course there is waste from all internal combustion
but veggie oil being available to everybody as fuel now no, it would take people adopting it and asking for it in a large enough group and even then the corporations who want control energy would maybe not listen to the will of the people to secure more profits for their own cogs.
look at flywheels too.
but like i said i envision you disagreeing just for the sake of that.
have a good day, don't stress you be off grid too.
