It looks like a very interesting building. I should try to get up an take a look the next time my dog drags me up to Seattle.

Thank you for the compliments.

When the architects described the building to me I was immediately interested in photographing it. The modern design with strong internal wood structure, the natural light enhanced with the clerestory windows, the waterfront site - I was very pleased to have the commission.

I knew it was up for LEED, then we heard that it has been accredited Platinum, and the first in Canada.

Excellent place to visit, especially if you also have time to visit the nearby Gulf Islands National Park (http://www.pc.gc.ca/pn-np/bc/gulf/index_E.asp).
