| Can anybody comment on the "avant-gardness" of this school? So far, I think it is quite technical, pragmatic and boring. But I might just go there this Fall..... Please, anyone? |

i am not so sure what that means but..i think its more traditional...more hand drawings ... in houston...U of H ... we work both ways, depends on prof, or what he/she likes (usually doesnt matter if its a clean drawing).
i think traditional way is losing...more computer CAD is in. but i always draw by hand (plan, section...everything) you can see the whole pictures at a bigger scale rather on a 19" comp monitor...of cos it is my opinion.
good luck going to UT i wish i can go there too but i am 4th yr in U of Houston (UT arch is a good school..so good they dont want to accept me when i first applied ehehe) |
