A little history to show you where i'm at and where i'm hopefully heading:

I graduated in 94 and gained licensure in the state I was living in at the time.
Since '94 I've had the pleasure to work ...

for example.
a healthcare system has many many architectural projects going on at all times....they could be remodeling existing facilities, upkeep on existing facilities, creating new hospitals, med ...

autocad seems to be the "industry standard"
all of my consultants use it and its easy to send files back and forth (.dwg format)

archicad does have a save as (or convert or something) that you can ...

maybe rephrase your question "who is your favorite architect and why"

i'm a fan of architecture and place....and i guess i can be a fan of architects who respect t ...

if you can...maybe you can try to talk directly to YOUR supervisor up front and ask him/her to define everyone's position on the project.
as a team..there will be some overlapping and some assistance ...

maybe focus on your most successful and "eye-pleasing" presentation types.

maybe it depends on the firm you're planning on working for.

some "heavy-design oriented" firms may want to see some po ...

nevermind about the book suggestions...i see the link at the bottom for books....

however...does anybody have any personal stories about starting their own firm?

or if you are or have been an em ...

i plan on starting my own office in the *VERY* near future.
i would like to know if you have any suggestions on any books i can purchase/reference.

i have many/varied concerns right now, not limit ...
