A good architect/carpenter I've always liked was Schindler. Check him out. Rick Joy was also a carpenter before becoming an architect, for a more recent example.

well thought out, and attention to detail. You need lineweights badly. Things cut thru should be darkest and things closer to us as the viewer should be darker than things beyond.
