You are right -- about the Santa Maria Novella -- I remember when I spent some time studying in Firenze I used to love that facade. And Santa Croce is very enthralling as well, but for me, more for it ...

Oh okay -- that makes sense then. I'm not sure I have much more to add that would be helpful -- the above advice is really sound IMO.
