robjwood Joined: 23 May 2004 Posts: 1 Location: Melbourne, Australia	Posted: Sun May 23, 2004 7:12 pm    Post subject: wrapping an image around a curved wall I have worked out how to place an image on a flat wall in Design Workshop Lite, but what i really want to do is wrap an image around a curved wall. When I try, all I seem to get is a re-tiling of the image on each segment of the curve, instead of the image wrapping around the wall. If Design Workshop is not able to do this, is there another program availabale that can? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Textures do not span across faces. To get the look you are trying for in DesignWorkshop you would need to split the image into a separate image for each face and each face would need to be a separate object. The latter issue is easily accomplished by exporting the object as a DXF and reimporting. Each face will then be a separate object. Splitting the image should not be too difficult if you know how many equal-sized faces it will be spanning, it will just be a bit tedious. Below is a quick example I just made.
