how do you actually place the floor plans in a storyboard?
Does the entrance must always come from below? or follow the compass? |

| It's personal preference, but I like the entrance on the bottom. |

Thanks. I know a couple of architects usually put the entrance on the bottom too. I didn't know many prefers it that way. I always place the entrance on top. So they will start from top to bottom, just like reading..
Thanks again! Really appreciate it! |

I have another question.
Usually we use this sign >>>> for the slope of the ramp. Does it always mean that the arrow pointing to that side means going up? or going down? Or anything will do? How should we actually draw arrows for clear drawing convention? |

Remember this is a tool for the benefit of the client who usually gets lost in his bedroom closet. In doing a storyboard always consider the following:
GENERIC BOARDS: For hotel and hospital rooms, office space allocation and department store copycat floor plans.
–ORIENTATION DOES NOT MATTER-
SPECIFIC BOARDS: For building lobbies, restaurants/kitchens, custom retail spaces – orientation is very important and should follow the compass, but specifically the angle of the traffic corridors, etc.
If the architect is not providing a “KEY FLOOR-PLAN” usually located in the lower right corner, in which you can locate by shadding the space detailed in the board.
–ORIENTATION IS A MUST-
