To answer alot of misconceptions. It is more feasable to put a basement under an existing home than to put a room addition up. You can live in your house while it is being done. The cost is alot more affordable at $30 to $50 a sqft. compare to $100 to $150 a sqft for room additions. In most areas your taxes will not increase for a basement they will infact increase considerably with a room addition. A basement is safer in storms, cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter, and doubles your sq footage for a fraction of the cost of a room addition.

if anyone has any ?s rreeseconstruction@sit-co.net
