Just upgraded an iMac from 10.3.9 to 10.4.11 and now we can't change layer colors in PowerCadd. Still using version 6 (with all of the updates). Color palette is available in the defaults box but layers want to stay black.
Tried trashing the PCADD defaults file-did not solve it.
Anyone have a fix?
Thanks,

As I recall that was a bug brought on by Tiger (10.4.x) and ES released an update to fix it. Check to see if you have the last release version of PC6. _________________ Rob

I just did a clean install of Leopard and my applications. The latest version of PowerCADD I have is 6.0.8.
With 6.0.8, I've got the layer color problem now.
Where can I download 6.2.1?
P.S. for Engineered and Alfred --- I'd just as soon stick with some version of 6 as opposed to ver. 7, as from what I read, it seems that 6 is supposed to be faster than 7. And, I can't upgrade to V8 at the moment being all my computers are either G4's or G5.
Any help would be appreciated,
Steve |

The update solved the problem. I found a copy of the updater on a external hard drive in the office. Not sure if it is on the web site any more?
Thanks for you help. Good luck HowGoesIt!
