After the local quarry closed in 1897, the buildings in the area have been difficult to add to, so new builds had even less chance of passing consevation depts in this *area (*undisclosed just yet). Until last week when a new limestone based wall coating was agreed in principal as a realsitic alternative that will keep the new HIPS build home within strict planning parameters. Art of Stone Decopierre approved dealers in Manchester have shown that any stone in any shape size or color can be matched. Bespoke interior or exterior walls. Lime based, breathable and self coloured to suit. NO design parameters. It's fantstic: Youtube GRAND DESIGN
