As of late I've been taking more and more interested in how to design the arrival and entrance to a house (mostly smaller dwellings). This is much due to a problem I've had in my current project with placing and designing the entrance in a good way. Of course I've always recognized it as an important part of the architecture but the more (famous) examples I look at the more I'm beginning to realize how much it means in some cases. What I'm looking for is some litterature (or other type of source) which handles this specific detail in dept and in a analytical way.

Anything relating is of great interest to me so if you could help with some examples I would be most grateful.
