Question to all the vectorworks wizzs. i just got a new intel mac and ran into some vectorworks problems. im not sure if its a computer thing or just a vectorworks setting. my 2 problems are
1. i cant see any nodes/vertexs on the lines that i draw/select. usually you get these white "square"/dots that you edit/stretch etc but i cant see them.
2. i cant see my line when im drawing it. usually when you draw a line using "click-click" method, after the first click to start the line, you can normally see a preview of the line before you close it. (a line that follows your cursor until you make a second click to end it)
similarly when i use "full screen cursor" the cursor isnt a solid crosshair, but very faintly dash, if at all.
like i said im not sure if its a graphics/resolution thing, or a vectorworks preference.

If your new intel mac is of the Core 2 Duo processor variety, you're going to have to upgrade to vectorworks 2008 to get it to run properly.
If you're running 12.5, you can to to Nemetschek N. A. and download a patch, but it's not guaranteed to fix the problems.
The good news is v. 2008 is awesome, and it runs great on the new dual processor macs. The bad news is it's not too cheap. |
