I've made the switch over to Apple and need to replace DW.

I used it mainly for woodworking design. I would design in 2d by drawing a box, entering/correcting dimensions, and placing it where it needed to be. I'd also give realistic textures to each object. Then I'd look at the final piece by rotating it in 3d space. The basic lighting and shadows gave a much more realistic view especially when looking inside an object such as a bookcase. I also used the cut-out tool for various things.

Is there an inexpensive CAD (under $250?) for my Intel MBP that can replace DW?

DW was never able to produce printed dimensions or cut lists so that would be a nice bonus.

Thanks,
Joe
