I am going to send a construction manual to contractor. The following is part of the manual. ANyone see anything wrong here:

"The tile shall be placed with four corners flat onto the base evenly. Use rubber hammer or the like to ram the tile onto the base, and check and adjust with a straight level. Alignment shall be made to the pre-set reference grid. Selected tile with dimension difference within 1mm shall be used. For tile of dimension difference bigger than 1mm, they should be selected and grouped to be used together in a batch.

Grouting to marble shall be done at 24 hours after laying in place. 1:1 (cement : fine sand) shaould be poured into the joints, the joint should be poured to 2/3 full. Use suitable timber strip to compact the cement-sand mix in the joints. Spilled cement sand mix shall be cleaned before it is hardened. Apply color cement grout of the same color or close to the marble to cover up the remianing 1/3 of joints. Surgface shall be thoroughly cleaned only after the joints have been set. No human movement or transport of material over the completed marble is allowed within a period of 3 days. The laid marble shall be cured and protected as specified. "

Not sure what your task and soultion are, but check a good specification source [like MasterSpec], or the Marble Institute of America for their tech info, specs, or recommednations. Or even a tile setting company.
I advise against writing your own specs/directions when there are other highly informed sources you can use.
