Is it possible, in effect, to create a musical instrument out of a building, using natural forces to 'play' it? For example, having wind and water to flow through pipes and tubes (like in an organ).
Is there some physical law or something which will prevent this?
Has it already been done? |

| we have these temples in india called the RAMAPPA temples in the state of andhra pradesh...the pillars of the temples release the various notes of music when they r hit with a finger...such was the perfectness of the architecture....these temples were built some centuries ago.... |

I immediately think of some sort of musical stairwell, where the further along you get on the stairs the higher the pitch.
It could turn out to make a great performance piece for a concert hall grand stairway. Imagine one tap dancer per tread, moving their feet in concert. It's something I'd like to see... _________________ Joel McKellar, LEED AP
