AT Retail Recruiting is an Executive Search and Recruitment Firm specializing in the area of Retail Store Environments; architecture, design, planning, construction, real estate, project management, fabricating, display, merchandising and graphics. Based in New York City, we have been serving local and national clients since 2002.
Client Company needs to develop and grow a New York office to service local luxury retail clients.
Architect needed for NYC office of a medium sized firm of 15 architects based in Chicago and is steadily growing.

Position would have direct client contact and must be a communicator, personable and have a positive personality.
Requirements:
4 year min. degree
0-10 years experience
strong AutoCAD background
familiarity with commercial, retail projects and detailing. Not residential.
no direct contact with the client in meetings or phone discussions until some experience inside the office is acquired and responsibility towards the work, schedules and dead lines is recognized.
Daily tasks:
develop construction documents and details from sketches and other sources.
administrative tasks related to the project(s) like: transmittals, printing, preparing packages for outside printing, FedEx and messengers
more participation into the project development will depend on performance and interest shown.
answering phones, getting messages, receiving packages, receive and sending faxes related to the jobs, common tasks of a small office.
no office administrative tasks like bills, invoices, accounting, etc. will be given.
Looking for someone casual but responsible and honest towards their own work. Someone that is hands-on, willing to learn and to go the extra mile to improve themselves and their surroundings.
Willing to jump-in and help when necessary.
Salary: $45,000 - $75,000 - commensurate to experience
