I am an architect. If your goal is to become an architect you should check with your local architect license board to see what type of degrees in architecture are acceptable. Many US states require an "NAAB" accredited degree. To my knowledge, there are no schools that offer an "NAAB" accredited degree in architecture through distance learning.

If a license is not your goal, then try Thomas Edison State College (www.tesc.edu). I just received my degree in architecture this month after being licensed for 12 years! (California is one of two States that allow time as an architect's apprentice to substitute for an NAAB degree). TESC is accredited by the eastern association of schools and colleges, so the degree can be used as a "stepping stone" toward a masters.

Good luck!
