I am looking for a new style of home design. I live in the Olympic Peninsula region and would like a style that can only be described as pioneer rustic or shack chic. I would like to use reclaimed barn wood, posts from trees with only the bark removed, corrugated metal roofing, rain barrels, and stained concrete floors or counter tops. I don't want "country", "lodge", "Northwest Starbucks", or "cabin" but do like elements of all these. It would be stained matt black with natural oiled wood and silver accents. Can anyone help me?

perhaps a combination of Miller/Hull with Samuel Mockbee would be a place to start.

If you are serious about the project contact me. I fell I exactly know what you are looking for and can help you with a design. I have studied Interior architecture at COlumbia College in Chicago and practiced at Skidmore Owings & Merill office in Chicago, Currently living in Europe but willing to work on some projects abroad. Give me some more details as to the site, number of rooms and your expectations and I will think of something spectacular and chic.
