My WildTools - Window Tool - behaves correctly with the values shown in your screen shots in P2K5.0.12 in OS 9.2.2. (running either as Classic Emulation or true 9.2.2). The same tool behaves correctly in PCD6.1.1 in 10.3.4

Does the problem persists across all machines in the office or one in particular?

I'd check the settings for Style Tools (on or off and/or is there are particular value set incorrectly if On)

I'd remove the PCadd Defaults file and see if the problem persists when new defaults are made.

Given it works correctly here, it seems likely to be machine specific but the above should provide some insight.

hope that helps
Brian

Brian - it is defiantely machine specfic as the other statiions are operating correctly. I wanted to check to see if it is some setting the user may have initiated in misguided keystrokes, before i reinstall the app. Unfortunately - user did not backup defaults.

Jason

If reviewing WildTOOLs: SyleTools On/Off and it's settings has no affect (doubtful it would), then a clean PowerCADD 2000 Defaults file is the route to take.

As I'm sure you're aware, but as a clarification for others who may not be; it's not necessary to reinstall PowerCADD or WildTOOLs. Simply move the PowerCADD 2000 Defaults file (System Folder:Preferences:PowerCADD™2000 Defaults) to the Desktop or Trash and launch P2K again to build a new Defaults file; the process takes less than a minute. While some application preferences need to be reset (key commands are unaffected), it's a small price to pay for a clean bill of health.

Cheers
Brian

As Bo (and others) have mentioned in the past, it is good to back up the Defaults file occaisionally, so you can substitute the backup for the corrupted one and not have to reset anything.

Well, I loaded up the defaults from my station and it still does it. I've seen stuff like this occur with some of the older Radeon Video cards, but am not sure how to pinpoint the source, be it the driver exension conflicting or what. In formZ, I would see that geometry was just missing when I used a Radaeon 7000, but switching to an older driver fixed the problem - the best fix was going ot Nvidia.
I'm going to reinstall PowerCADD now and I'll report back if that fixes the problem - if not I'm switching vid cards.

And I second Bo's recommendation of backing up defaults - this has saved me alot of time, unfortunately the user with the window problems did not back up the defaults.

Aloha - Jason

I suspect your next solution might start with a G and end with a 5
