As an environmental designer, a lot of this showboat stuff tends to make me roll my eyes. On the other hand, I know from conversation that this kind of stuff can be pretty exciting to lay people...

But that's just me. What about you?

I'm definitely in the eye-rolling camp.

The quarry reclamation project is a nice idea. I certainly applaud any attempt to convert human blights on the landscape into something potentially beneficial.

Likewise, the notion of vertical farms is pretty cool, though I don't know of any major successful examples of that idea in action. Plus the "Dragonfly" looks a bit more like an ant farm to me; butterfly at best.

The rest aren't doing much for me. Though I do wonder if Konhausner played any role in the egg, like they did for the Grand Lisboa.

I was was able to come up 11 silly names, one for each, with relative ease. Such as: "Legion of Doom Headquarters in the swamp" Self-explainatory, because it is but they know to throw a party. and "Hand grabs Ball" Looks both literal and figurative, it could be a "limp squid" too. "The Transformers wrecked ship" Robots in disguise Autobots transform. I'll spend some time editing to make them even funnier.

"Hindenburg" even the pitch looks the same upon impact... More creepy than funny. "Septic pond" Can we live in our own poo? Lets build a hotel in a septic pond and find out.
