Anyone else bored and procrastinating? How about wasting some of that time with comments on my design... I have made a few changes since this, 2 weeks left until review. Thanks.

Please read the assignment and my text description for conceptual info and background for the project.

The exterior materials are concrete for the east wing, stucco infill with heavy timber framing and a standing seam roof over the main portion.

Please ignore the crappyness of the rendering, low settings and unfinished.

You said:

"Now I had this really strong idea of what I wanted to do with these open spaces, and my teacher really liked the idea of these two open spaces, each having separate identities while on the same site. But in the end it was pointed out to me that my design didn't end up creating these powerful urban spaces that I set out to."

When you were done with the project and ready to present it, were you happy with it, until you received a negative crit -- or did you have doubts yourself ? And, how did it make you feel to get that feedback ?

The primary spaces are too tight. If someone is sitting at the west workstation there is no way to get past them. Same for the north conf table chairs.

It's also rarely a good idea to require moving through a room to get to the rest of the facility -- expecially when that room is a conference room.

And... a conference room with no doors?!

I'm afraid that this plan is completely unfunctional.

As you may have guessed the above lekizz post is not mine! My reply to the OP has rematerialised elsewhere at:

http://www.designcommunity.com/forums/topic-29035.html

NB I think the above two replies were in response to another thread (and have been scrambled by the recent attack on DesignCommunity)
