I did a design for a - fastpitch softball team's logo, they want to put it on their shirts.
The guy who does it wants an EPS file. I don't have illustrator, just PC8 and PC7. Anybody got any advice, help? the file is 344k. Thanks, Matt.

Matt,
Have you tried to send them a PDF. They should be able to export that into Illustrator, then (I would think) they can save it as the necessary file.
I just had some rendering work done by a graphic artist who took a PDF of a B/W rendering I did. I sent her a PDF, she rendered it in Illustrator.
Good Luck.

| Illustrator, at least the later versions, will open a PDF as an editable file. I just succcessfully tested this with the CS4 version.

You can also open a PDF with Acrobat Pro and save as EPS with a variety of preview options. I've done this and it works well.

Matt - As time has passed since you first posted this .... I have gotten a real chuckle out of this. Obviously you have someone in the family playing fast pitch.
I can hear it now....... "My Dad can design us a logo!!!"
Thank goodness for PowerCadd. PowerCadd has been used for a number of school projects, Eagle Scout projects, Just for fun project.... you name it. Maybe we should add a section in the Bullpen for all the things our kids have used PowerCadd for and/or had us use it for.....

Looks Great!!!!
I am sure you have some very happy - on that team.
Hopefully a few hours at the ball park will provide some relief to all of the economic madness. I know watching my oldest running the 4 x 800 at the State Track meet was a great break from the office (They were seeded 15th out of 16 teams and took 8th - putting them on the medal stand. )
Have a good summer watching the -.

Actually I think Matt is just being a dirty old man, hanging around some fast-pitching - hoping one of them might be a fast lady!
