| I want to start a bussiness and I want to have it be green. What can I do to be green. I know I can have it run on solar energy but what else can I do. How would I save water? My trash? Any ideas would be great. |

| It sounds like a commendable ambition! But what sort of business do you plan to set up? What sort of premises will/do you have? Will you be using transport? Where in the world are you? It's a big subject and you have asked a very general question! |

Lots of green paint of course!
All kidding aside, as lekizz mentioned, more specifics would be better. Some general suggestions... use a paperless filing system, task lighting is generally better than area lighting, use flouresent bulbs, get "gently used" office furniture instead of buying brand new stuff... basically, stick to the three R's, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. With more specific information, you'll get more specific answers. |
