Help! Does anyone know the style of this home? It was designed in 1963 and built the same year by a local firm that is no longer in business in the Fort Worth, TX area. It has lots of stonework and appears to be rough cedar vertical siding. Please see attachments and thank you for your information!

Well over a hundred views, several days, and no responses, so I will try and throw you a bone for what it's worth-

This doesn't fit neatly into any pre-determined, codified "style" that I am aware of. What is the reason you need to know it's "style"?

"Style" can be a very slippery word.

Ah, I see. That's annoying. Well, at least you took a reasonable stab at it. Smile

Can you remove your own posts or threads here? Not seeing it.

It appears that the original poster often doesn't come back with a response in many cases, nor do they manage their own threads...
I see that 'moonstonestreet' has spammed about their own '- * spam * -' on multiple forums in an attempt to get attention...
Apparently that's the way to get the message out: flood the media outlets, but without the expense of a 3 million $ 30 second super bowl ad....

The house is a 60s contemporary POST AND BEAM construction, very inexpensive to build, most of the rooms had open beams (rafters) and tong and groove solid pine roof sheathing.

The stone work is probably a non structural veneer for looks only.

The old double post trick. It would describe the house too.
