Someone wants to install laminate flooring in his bedroom. The floor area neighboring to the door is in square shape. However, the floor area neighboring to the window is not regular. It is elliptical. The window is in the opposite position of the door. He wonders how to do the installation work for the shape of the floor.
He can start the installation from the door. Use a piece of paper to draw the shape of elliptical area when it’s time to install laminate flooring in the elliptical area. Cut the planks neighboring to the wall of the elliptical area in terms of the elliptical shape one by one. No need to worry that if the cut plank is ugly as the edge of the cut planks will be covered by quarter round, skirting or other accessories. |
