Sounds like a problem.

Let me guess,...

You have't been out of school long.

While in school, you were always into the glossy magazines and were fluent in all the names that appeared in those pages.

You're still that way.

You're finding it difficult to transition from school to work.

My only advice...

Get over it!

It's always a challenge to balance and reconcile divergent passions... you are far from alone in finding a struggle there.

Try to stay patient and sympathetic, to your personal and work partners, and to yourself as well. Don't inflict costs on others that they cannot withstand, without being aware of the natural consequences - and take responsibility when you do.

Only by being realistic, patient, thoughtful, over time - honest, especially inside, as well as passionately committed - will you gradually learn to find your way, the balance you need, the balance that works for you.

Like the challenge, the reward is great also: living life to the fullest.
