Don't be fooled by exaggerated claims about low VOC paints protecting the environment. They don't do a lot of anything, yet this is the premise of just about all paint companies with respect to being "Green."

Take a look at the California Air Resource Board's (CARB) emissions inventory, you might be quite shocked to how little they contribute to low level ozone depletion.

However, if you add energy-efficiency to low VOC paints you can see a huge improvement in air quality.
