we've begun the design stage of a green brownstone renovation in Harlem and are researching wind turbines to use in tandem with solar PV.
we've found a few options (see at:
http://greeninharlem.com/2008/04/wind-power-for-our-brownstone.html ).
requirements are: bird friendly, low noise, roof-mountable, usable in low wind and a relatively small size.
Does anyone have any other suggestions in addition to the ones we found?
