hi, i'm syahmi aznan and currently studying at malacca matriculation college. i'll finish my matriculation studies this april and considering architecture as my tertiary studies. my enquires are:
1) are most of the architecture syllabuses are based on maths, physics, and chemistry? how deep are they if there are any?
2) what are the common architecture syllabuses that being taught at most of the local universities or overseas?
that's all that i want to know for now about architecture. replies are kindly appreciated. thank you. |

Calculus - 1 yr
Physics - 1 yr
Statics & strength of materials and wood/steel/concrete/masonry engineering - 2 years
Design studio - 4 years
Professional practice - 2 to 3 years
Building systems - .5 to 1 year
History of architecture - 1 year
City & regional planning - .5 to 1 year
Plus addtional elective & general education & breadth requirements
Every school I've checked has their curriculum available on their website. |
